Being the youngest in the group?

In both my two main groups of friends I am the youngest! At first this was cool because I would be like “see I’m smarter :p” but now THEY ARE GETTING THEIR DRIVER’S LICENSES! And I still don’t even have my learners permit!!!

Discuss:How to deal with being the youngest?

Er, it’s not a big deal. I’m the youngest in my group and all my friends got their permits before me. But now I’m getting my license before them. Just be glad that you have friends who can drive you places now!

I was the youngest in only one group of my friends. Let’s see, I was a freshman when one of them was a senior (we had met earlier, when I was in middle school, but hadn’t really become friends until having debate in high school), and he introduced me to some friends who had just recently graduated high school and were at the local college (and one who we saw sometimes coming back from a university). Also, another one of my friends in that group was a senior in that class (president of debate).

Now I’m a senior in high school, and until very recently (in the past month, I moved across the country, one friend transferred to a university, one is getting married, and one joined the army) I have been doing things with them constantly. Though a couple left after my freshman year, several stayed behind. I never had any problems with being younger. They were some of my best friends. As for driving, one of them didn’t get his license until he was 20 (and by then I had mine). I would always just get rides from them.
