<p>I was offered the opportunity by a coach at a small LAC to submit my transcript for a pre-read (I’m a rising senior interested in running XC). Can anyone give me an idea as to how beneficial this would be? My parents want me to apply early elsewhere so I feel that an early read would only be helpful if a) the admissions officers find my transcript satisfactory and b) if I end up applying to this school. Also, this school puts no emphasis on athletes in the admissions process (it does not recruit). Any ideas/opinions would be helpful! </p>
