Benefits of Regents?

Hi, I’m a new member… this is my first post though I’ve done some lurking. I’ve been able to find most of the answers to my questions… but I have one that nobody has asked yet… so:

I’m a Regents Scholar and in the packet I was mailed there was a paper that listed the benefits/privileges of being a Regents Scholar… one of which was “UCSD college of choice at time of admission.” Does this mean I can switch colleges? I know that it’s really difficult/nearly impossible to switch colleges… but does being a Regents Scholar mean I can change my mind? I applied and was accepted to Warren, but would really prefer to be in Muir. Can someone tell me if I’m interpreting this “benefit” correctly? Thanks!

time of admission = you got your first choice of college already.

i think you’ll be in the same applicant pool with everyone else after that.

Original name for a Regents Scholar, lol.

One seldom mentioned benefit for Regents Scholar is the priority tee time at Torrey Pine.

Sunfish: really?

Gotcha! I was just kidding around because of OP’s moniker :p

Haha well, it’s actually my real name… I get golf jokes all the time though.
