I am wondering which school has a better network and reputation for finance. Bentley is slightly cheaper, but money is not a significant issue.
Look at career outcomes. Babson is generally seen as stronger but there’s no absolutes. Every case is individual.
Finance, btw, is wide in scope and generally any school is ok.
Do you have a specific role in mind?
Would choose Babson. A relative went to Bentley because of their supposed excellent job placement program. However, it did not materialise at all.
Personal opinion.
Bentley has become the place the kids that want to say they play D2 (rather than D3) sports go if they want to major in business. Babson is the place kids go if they are obsessed with being an entrepreneur. Where do you see yourself?
The answer to your question is Babson.
Frankly the difference between Babson and Bentley is negligible in terms of career potential. If we’re talking a UMass vs (Babson or Bentley) I’d suggest the either of the latter schools purely because of the networking opportunities. It really comes down to your interpersonal skills in the long run. I graduated from Babson and I’m currently 10 years into my career. Sure it’s great to connect with a fellow Babson alum - the networking opportunities have helped me throughout my career - but I’ve worked alongside graduates of a variety of colleges. The thing that stands out is that individual was charamastic and a good “people person”.
You focus should be on which school environment is more aligned with your interests. Putting aside academics, the schools are very different in size. That will play a significant part in your college experience. Don’t discount it.
