Hi! I just wanted to add here an important piece of information about the Sciences Po dual degree program at Berkeley that we didn’t realize until my daughter went to Cal day last month. It turns out that doing the Sciences Po two years fulfills your gen education requirements at Berkeley! This was a huge piece of good news for my daughter. We had watched some takeover videos on Columbia/SP dual degree early in the application process, and students lamented that you had to be very organized and proactive in order to get your core curriculum requirements done on time. There was even a suggestion to try to take sciences classes over the summer in order to fit it all in. Not that there is anything “wrong” with taking summer classes, but it seemed like it was a bit stressful to fit everything in and still get to major in what you want. Anyway, this was a very big difference that no one mentioned to us that I for sure found helpful. (Full disclosure we are California residents to that was also a huge plus for us financially).
