<p>Please tell me the best possible book to study for the ACT. I just failed the PSAT and really don’t want to screw up my ACT Score. Any advice is welcome.

<p>The consensus on this forum is that Cracking the ACT (PR) + The Real ACT Book are the best ones. Basically, take every full-length test that you have time for. Start out by working at your own pace, checking every single problem (wrong or right) to create a mental map of the types of problems you will encounter. Yes, you must absolutely check every problem you get right as well (no exceptions) if you are to use this strategy. As test day gets nearer, start taking tests in simulated conditions (perhaps even Saturday mornings at the same time as the real test). </p>
<p>To make this process easier, divide out each full-length test into sections, whereas each section is made up of one part of the test. This means that you will be completing a given test in 4 days if you are diligent about reviewing one section per day.</p>
