i ask because 2 of my best friends birthdays are coming up >.<</p>

<p>brownies! lol first time anyone made anything for me! and one friend always gives me like weird shaped soap (a peach…), penguin shaped pen, perfume…lol</p>
<p>all my best gifts were something that showed how well the person knew me… so something personal and relatable</p>

<p>um, something not to do unless you want to make your friend laugh or get mad at you:
a picture of their crush in a frame. =/</p>
<p>My girlfriend made me a poster that illustrated all of our inside jokes. The same year she did get me a gift that cost money. The funny thing is, I don’t even remember what the latter part was.</p>
<p>My Force FX Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber…don’t judge me. :P</p>
<p>Hmm one time my friend baked me bunch of cookies, and she adorned each one with icing referring to a different inside joke.</p>
<p>I thought the cookies were really sweet…but they were hardly edible…like burnt sugar rocks. Needless to say, I read the messages and threw it out quickly afterward.</p>
<p>Hmmm, mine was a silly little moose beanie baby I got for my 13th birthday. It was a joke between a friend and me. I still have it. It sits on my head board.</p>
<p>Then, there was my 16th birthday. One of my favorite authors was in town right before my birthday, so my friend went out, bought his newest book, and got it signed by him, along with getting me all of the “Happy 16th Birthday” stuff she could find at Wal Mart, a mini birthday cake, and reeses peanutbutter cups. :D</p>

<p>I don’t know if it’s all across the US, but there’s a store in the north west called Alberstons. They have the most amazing little cakes. They’re personal sized. I got one last year for my birthday from a friend. (Along with various other things, but that’s a different story.) So, if you can’t cook, or just hate/suck at it there’s always that option.</p>
<p>erm. i’m pretty sure it was a book. it was the “best” present i could have ever received. joy.</p>
<p>Don’t really care for my b-days, since it’s in the middle of the summer, and freinds forget about it. :P</p>
<p>All the game consoles that I have gotten for Christmas definitely top the list. Three years ago it was a Wii, than an XBOX 360… Never got around to a PS3. I remember when I was younger my big bro bought me a bunch of pokemon cards. That was my favorite memory from Christmas.</p>
