<p>My son has been offered to DIII OV’s and I am uncertain as to the best days to schedule these. It has been our experience that DI OV’s are usually offered on the weekend (I remember my daughter doing either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun - can’t really remember). The DIII coaches just say whatever works best for you between Sept-end of Oct. and of course you should include a game or practice day. Any thoughts?</p>
<p>DIII coaches say that because you are the one paying for transportation. So yes, that sounds about right. </p>
<p>All of my DIII visits are scheduled during the week. Best time would probably be when he doesn’t have school and so when he visits, he doesn’t miss a lot of work. Also, if he has multiple visits, maybe space them out evenly Sept-Oct so he can catch up on work.</p>

<p>We did want to be there for classes/class, so we did a couple Thurs eve/Fri/Sat, and a Sun-Tues Midwest tour over Columbus day. It unfortunately snowed so Carleton was out of luck!(also Mac and St Olaf)</p>
<p>Son says he’ll be alright with schoolwork, so we are going Saturday-Tuesday, that way he can see a game, check out the surrounding towns and then have his OV on Monday night which will include an interview at the school and seeing a team practice.(we are leaving Monday morning). Other schools are more local, so we have already seen games.</p>
