Hi you all,
I am applying to a university next year, undergraduate phyics course. So, besides the obvious oxbridge, what are the other best five physics departments in UK?
Thanks so much in advance

Depends who you ask, but Oxford, Imperial, Durham, Edinburgh and St Andrews all turn up on most of the lists. Cambridge does not, but mostly b/c it’s a Natural Sciences degree, not a Physics degree. Note that you will really want to have AP Calc BC, and 2 sciences at AP / SAT II.

Edit: shouldn’t have said not Cambridge- it is obviously top of the pops- just noting that when it doesn’t appear on a list it is b/c the program isn’t called ‘physics’ at the undergrad level- it’s included under ‘natural sciences’
