My DD was accepted to DePaul but just last night I found articles online saying DePaul is in poor financial trouble. That led to them stopping their MFA program and stopping their relationship with the Reskin Theater. Now I’m very hesitant about DePaul even though it is one of my daughter’s favorites. I probably need to call and have a talk with the department.

Received an offer from them on Feb 28th, A day after i auditioned.
DePaul still has a “Good-to-Moderate” financial projection in a sea of “Weaks”. Higher Education is struggling. The Big Beautiful Bill eliminated a lot of graduate and international aid, which in turn has weakened graduate programs and funding across the board. I digest all of this as DePaul protecting itself for the future, but that is just my take. I would recommend a deep-dive on the financial health of any institution your DD is considering.

Has anybody heard from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities? I got my academic acceptance a few weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything about the Acting BFA.
We also have not heard about the acting BFA for Minnesota. I assume this means you and DD are on some sort of unofficial wait-list.
I also have not heard back after Chi UNIFIEDS
DD emailed Minnesota today about when they’d release decisions and about 30 min later got a rejection.
Is anyone still waiting to hear from Purchase?
We received an official waitlist notification on the Acceptd website yesterday morning, for University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

My kid was just notified that she was waitlisted for Purchase. Not sure what the likelihood of getting a spot is. Thinking not very…

Anyone know when UCLA might be releasing decisions? Last one I’m waiting on 
I didn’t get called back for an interview but they do say that you don’t necessarily have to be called in for an interview to be accepted, anyone know if that’s true?
Do you think I should try contacting U of M? I don’t really understand their timeline/how they are releasing decisions and why they aren’t doing it in waves, it feels like they are doing it at random.

Yes and tell us how they handle. Anyone not hear from Syracuse or Pace yet ? My dd has not heard since callbacks but I assume it’s her being a transfer student.
