Anyone hear from UMich’s acting program yet?

Calarts and SCAD also have pretty hefty costs. How would they be less than NYU? I know it’s expensive, but had no idea it was more than the others!

I heard I got in around feb 15th? For other people I know who got declined or waitlisted they also found out around then.

My son is also accepted at Stevens Point and Viterbo for acting. We are visiting this week. Where does he want to go?

I got scholarships from SCAD so tuition would be around 25k for me (NYU is 75k), and am hoping to get financial aid from CalArts (which their tuition is 60k so still less than NYU :smiling_face_with_tear:)
If I had more time I would have definitely tried finding a solution to attend NYU but since it was ED2 we had to give a reply very fast and weren’t able to see if we might be able to get more aid from them. Considering the full COA, Calarts will also be too expensive at around 90k but its still almost 20k less than NYU (NYU COA I got 107k which is crazy :face_with_spiral_eyes: ), but since they only consider the FAFSA and not the CSS profile I hope they will be less stingy with the aid.

Anyone heard from Carnegie Mellon? I know they usually do phone calls, but haven’t heard of any.

I believe phone calls for both acting and MT went out on 2/26, so it’s waiting for Waitlist or Nos now, I believe. And speaking of…my kiddo just texted he got a no today.

I got the reverse. Accepted to Fordham, denied at DePaul. This whole process is crazy!
