Thank you for the offer— my daughter had a wonderful experience with the CalArts callback, and felt that the CalArts panel and her auditor were so supportive… it’s her top choice, so we are waiting with bated breath!!

D accepted into James Madison Theatre, declined JMU MT.
Accepted Eastern Carolina MT but they are requiring her to make a decision by March 23rd, which is problematic.

For anyone waiting for Penn State, my D got an email from Steve Snyder today telling her she’s on the waitlist. So, I’m assuming all offers have gone out, esp since he said in email that they’re only taking 12-14.

Hi— My daughter was accepted to BFA Acting at CalArts!!! She is over the moon excited… is there anything you can tell me about your son’s experience? Why did he choose CalArts over other programs? My D is ready to commit this second, but we’re following everyone’s advice and waiting until after all decisions are in (Only USC and NYU are remaining), if only to make sure and do our due diligence. Thank you for any advice you can give!
