No clue about when Purchase will announce.

Anyone have insight on BFA acting at Mason Gross Rutgers?
My daughter was accepted a few days ago and we donât quite have a feel for it, we live out of the country currently so havenât been able to visit, though I did attend Rutgers many, many years ago. She was waitlisted at Tisch, her first choice, and still waiting on Carnegie Mellon, UNCSA and BO at Berklee (MT).

From what Iâve heard, Rutgers is a strong program - but one of the head faculty members, Kevin Kittle, left within the past few years - and certain areas of the program have been a bit up in the air since then.

I was wondering about Rutgers. We live in London currently and a bonus is the semester spent at the Shakespeare Globe (she could come back here where she grew up) but it doesnât look like they went this year? If itâs no longer part of the program that would be a drawback. Will need to investigate. Thx again!

Hello! Is there a reason why you think the students from Rutgers did not go to London last year? I found a picture of them posted by mgsarutgers on X on 2/23/24. I tried to upload a screen shot. I also found on instagram on 3/16/24 a post from the school as well with 5 photos. I hope this helps? I also know that now it has been moved to the 4th year in the fall semester instead of junior year.

I was looking for performances to perhaps see as we live in London and yes, everything posted is from a year ago. The Globe said nothing is coming up on the calendar from RU and I didnât see anything from this past Fall semester (Sep-Dec 24) on their socials. We havenât asked the school though, so I donât know whatâs happening.

We have not heard anything either. I cant tell if others have received any calls yet.
I canât tell either, but from what I have seen and heard, I donât think so. I do know that students who currently attend the UNCSA High School Drama Intensive were informed over the weekend - I have a friend there who heard a no.
