Anyone else waiting to hear from Carnegie Mellon? I think, in the past, they’ve notified in early March… wondering if anyone knows whether things will be the same this year?
We’re waiting on CMU and still crossing our fingers. Any idea how long it takes them to make all the calls? Thanks!
A friend of mine received a call and was accepted for MT. Not sure what that means for acting since they are two separate programs. She got the call at about 10 last night.
Wow! 10 at night. I keep telling my child you never know when a call may come in! Hope everyone hears some good news soon.
Do these schools only make calls on weekends? Anyone know how long it takes to get them all out?

Hi. I received a call on Saturday that I have been accepted into the BFA Acting program.

Hi – so new here and proud parent. I have a quick question: we have several situations where our kiddo has applied and decisions are out (both yes and no) but they have not heard anything. Do some schools have stealth waitlists?
Good question. I keep going with the no news is good news until we hear otherwise.

Hello! Has anyone auditioned for Ball State and heard anything yet??
I’ve been wondering the same thing! My guess is ‘yes’ that there is a stealth waitlist. My daughter was accepted to MN and CCM quickly after Chicago unifieds. Also heard quick 'no’s from Rutgers and UNCSA. On some of the other forums (MT BFA) some people were still waiting to hear from MN & CCM as of yesterday. MN asked my daughter to make a decision ‘yes or no’ by mid-march if at all possible. My guess is that is so they can then move through their waitlist if she declines. She of course, is still waiting to hear from 7 other schools she auditioned for in February before she makes a decision! This is a tough month for the students, the parents AND the schools.

Which schools are people still waiting to hear from? I’m waiting on BU, DePaul, NYU, and Syracuse… I have a feeling that at least one or two of those will release throughout this upcoming week.
Still waiting on Pace and SUNY Purchase. Accepted into Webster and LIU. Got a no for UNCSA.
