I’m not in favor of ED; however, for the applicants considering dual degree, Bienen is one of the top choices, and ED does have an advantage.
Absolutely. My comments aren’t pro or con ED. I’m just responding to questions about it…in my opinion and experience. I certainly can be wrong.
Bienen does seem to attract high music and academic talent. It would be an great choice for a student wanting to be challenged in both the academic and music studies. Their dual degree program is known to be excellent. If a student is truly a great fit for the schools (music and other area of study), the curriculum and the faculty…they can certainly apply ED…and hopefully save themselves a lot of time and worry. It’s all about fit (maybe more so than a strategy to increase your admittance odds).
