So so good. And I was thoroughly surprised.
Just fantastic. Love, truth, loyalty, understanding, friendship. The quality of the acting without words- I’m without words!
@3girls3cats Yes, true to the book for the most part. I liked how they did the actual scene, you know the one I mean. They didn’t make it incredibly obvious what was happening by including dialogue. I thought the direction was wonderful.
I am proud to say that I sort of knew who the victim would revolve around, I figured out some of the key plot points in the first episode (hey, it is rare enough) with the tangled relationships. What is interesting to me is with the main characters you don’t get full backstories on them about why they are as they are, but the way the story unfolds you get hints and glimpses that make you go ha, of course they act like that. Funny that the one character I would wish ill of in real life is one of the cops (along with the nasty character in the story)
Would love to talk about this in detail but I don’t want to spoil it for others.
I figured out one thing early on, too.
