It stopped about 20 minutes ago here. I’d say that we’re 9-11 inches.

Logan should be fine tonight but I’m not sure that the flights will be.

DH is flying to Hartford arriving tonight. His flights are noted as on time. It is very lightly snowing here…but I don’t think we will have more accumulation. We are NW of Hartford and got about 8 inches of “snowman snow” wet and packing!

Looks like a house on Plum Island in northern Massachusetts toppled into the ocean this morning. Nobody injured (the owner is wintering in Florida).

I heard on the radio that there are other properties that are at risk and that some of the others might be condemned.

Yeah, I’m watching the news there and it said that twelve houses on the island have been condemned, and this house was labeled structurally unsafe after the last blizzard. They’re evacuating a lot of houses there, too.

1" here in SE RI…

I’m so thankful that this storm will miss us here in northern VT. I think the ski areas have plenty and I’m sick of shoveling. The big snows almost always happen when H is out of town. Twice the snow plows have gotten stuck in our driveway. One of those times our carbon monoxide alarm started going off and I had to call the fire dept. The guy had to shovel his way up the driveway. I’ve had it with winter!!

Son’s plane is cancelled tonight. He was coming home for spring break. He’s got a flight booked to replace it for tomorrow.

Freakish storm with vast amounts of moisture pumping up into the rotating storm. It’s much further out than the models say should affect the coast, certainly not to this degree. I read we’re lucky the temperature was also colder than expected because the snow was much fluffier and thus we had few power outages.

The sun has been out at my house for a few hours now and the snow has already fallen off the trees. I expect by the end of the weekend it will all be melted. :)

“1” here in SE RI… " Where in SE RI? I have a house in Narragansett.

S1’s flight to Boston was cancelled. The best the airline could do was rebook him on a flight at 5:30am tomorrow that changes in Phila and LGA before landing in Boston. What a convoluted itinerary. Knowing how slow things can get at the Phila airport, I hope he makes his connection at LGA.

I was in the fitness center watching the snow fall off the trees.

It’s 42 degrees here and the parking lot is bare pavement. The roads outside look bare too. I’m hoping that there’s under four inches on the roof. If that’s the case, I’m not going to bother raking it.

I just there was a snowstorm in LA county!

Some crummy weather out there right now. Everyone at the tennis in Indian Wells are bundled up.

I’ll have to see if I can find some matches this evening.

Traffic situation in Boston looks great. No traffic jams.

BC, only on Tennis Channel. 2pm-2am until next Friday.

We have friends in Foxboro, MA who just told us they have 20" of snow. Looks like MA got hammered! Anyone get more than they did in the storm a couple of weeks ago?

My daughter said Worcester MA got about 16 from what her friends at Holy Cross told her. She’s very happy to be in cloudy, rainy, but not too snowy England this past season.
