i did not study at all. however, i took AP english that yr and that helped a lot and i also got a lot more experience with the test (i guess practice is the most important factor)

sporty, there are many SAT online courses. however, typically, it’s the one by the collegeboard. the site just has tutorials / practice SATS that are different from the blue book / an auto essay grader

is there anyone who went from a 1400 to a 1900+?

really need some confidence boost here :(

don’t lose hope:

psat sophomore:166
psat junior:202
sat may junior:2320

i didn’t study religiously… just took 3 of the practice tests in the blue book and tried to figure out what i did wrong. i think sophomore year was a fluke b/c i didn’t have any sleep the night before and I didn’t take it seriously… junior year psat I was hoping to get national semifinalist but cutoff for my state was 220 or close to that… but as you can see sat and psat are widely different. good luck to all future sat test takers!

to dudely123, I also got a 184 PSAT this October; I would be ecstatic to get a 2040 SAT this spring. Gotta work!

PSAT-187
