Not shocking.
Did he forget that he admitted this or was he hoping that this would never pop up?
Just disgusting.
This should be the nail in the coffin for all those disbelievers.
Oh gosh – Bill Cosby is really a bad guy? Quelle surprise.
^ especially whoopie Goldberg who chastised ROSIE, in the most uncomfortable way, when Rosie took sides with the multitude of women who claimed they were raped.
Whoopie was so rude and condescending she owes ROSIE a pubic apology. I haven’t watched that show since, whoopie has gone off the rails.
Indeed, not shocking. shock is what came with the first allegation, but that quickly turned to stunned disappointment as each additional victim came forward. I can only feel sorry for his co-stars who probably depended upon the residuals they earned from syndication airings of The Cosby Show. Through no fault of their own, that income will most certainly dry up.
Oh, I didn’t want it to be true. I have so enjoyed Bill Cosby, he is hilarious. Why, oh why, do all the great ones turn out to be scumbags?
This was on the news this evening.
it’s always the holier than thou ones who are the worst offenders. He was such a know-it-all pontificating blowhard to the black community.
I really never realy liked him or his shows or dislked him either.
So Sad, so bad , for the people abused, both sexually, AND those who believed in him, AND everyone who ever believed in him .
Just sad.
The judge decided to unlock the court documents because Bill continued to protray himself as morale guide about how to raise children. Stupid, cosby he should have gone quietly into the good night.
Here is the view show where everyone ganged up on Rosie, who stood by the women.

News update whoopie still defending
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/07/07/whoopi-goldberg-bill-cosby-is-innocent-until-proven-guilty/
From the excerpts I’ve read. he admits to giving 'ludes to women he wanted to have sex with, but he adds that they took the drugs willingly. And that they had sex willingly. He admits he wanted to have sex with women. No shocker there. Certainly, a young woman could be “starstruck” and desire sex with him. And that, by itself, sure isn’t rape. Saying that he shared drugs with women he wanted to have sex with is no admission of rape.
On the surface, he has admitted drug use, but darn sure has not admitted rape. However, personally I suspect there is more that isn’t being told.
I hope Whoopie defends Dylann Roof and Francisco “Willie Horton” Sanchez as vigorously, until and if they are proven guilty.
Whoopi, we hardly know ya.
I get so sick of the “innocent until proven guilty” argument that Whoopie Goldberg is trotting out. That’s so misused. “Innocent until proven guilty” is just a formal legal presumption in a criminal trial. It just means the judge and jury can’t infer guilt from the mere fact that the defendant is accused of a crime; the burden is on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. If the prosecution doesn’t meet that burden, the defendant must be acquitted, i.e., legally treated as innocent, even if the jury has doubts about his innocence, and even if the jury thinks it likelier than not that defendant committed the crime, but there’s still room for reasonable doubt. But that has nothing to do with how the rest of us are supposed to look at it. Dylann Roof is entitled to the same formal “innocent until proven guilty” presumption at his criminal trial, but I’m pretty darned certain he intentionally shot and killed 9 people in a historic African-American church in Charleston, SC, and I’m equally certain that he did it for reasons of racial animus. I don’t need to presume he’s innocent, nor do I need to suspend judgment until there’s a criminal conviction. It would be different if I were a juror or the judge trying the case; then it would be my duty to afford him the formal “innocent until proven guilty” presumption and leave the prosecution to its proof of his guilt. But as an ordinary citizen watching from a distance, I’m entitled to form my own opinion based on any information I have access to, and I think Dylann Roof committed heinous crimes. Same goes for Bill Cosby. Based on information that’s out there in the public domain, I’m convinced Cosby is guilty of some really despicable acts, up to and including multiple rapes, all following the same pattern. I don’t need to assume he’s “innocent until proven guilty.” That standard will apply only if and when he stands criminal prosecution for those crimes–and even then, it’s really only the judge and jury that must make that formal legal presumption. The rest of us are entitled to form our own opinions.
What about Camille? I’m so sick of these women that just hunker down and stand by their man. Having extra-marital affairs is one thing; the level to which the Cos went is far beyond that. Camille puts herself out there as a champion of women’s rights. So what gives?
Personally, my armchair diagnosis is he hates women (duh?) and I always assumed he was probably snotty to Camille, since he has that know-it-all tendency, as well. Supposedly, he was pretty tough on his kids.
I guess Whoopie is willing to die (career wise) on that hill…So be it!
Not surprised, since these allegations have been public for a while – and apparently talked about for YEARS within the show business community.
But I, for one, am sad. Fact is for way too long there was a glaring lack of positive images featuring African Americans on TV. I do remember Cosby being criticized within the black community for being, for lack of a better expression, a “know it all,” but I still appreciated an educated, warm and funny black man creating such great role models within the context of an intelligent, popular television program.
It’s truly depressing to think that all along he was drugging and raping women. A role model my foot…
feel the same way katliamom…
