What did you think?
I was very impressed with how brilliant and really creative she is. She can be demanding, but I feel she is judged MUCH more harshly than a man who is successful.

Great synopsis. I loved when in one of her first appearances out of prison she wore that sweater/poncho that another inmate made.
I sort of think her goal was not to be liked/loved but to be admired and appreciated for her work/talents.
She’s definitely not a warm and cozy person - but like I said,

My favorite line in “The Diplomat” so far was delivered by Allison Janney - “Is that a paper clip?” Even the way she said it was perfect.

Do they show the control room guys using slide rules? That was my favorite part of the movie.

Just finished The Diplomat! Great ending. A little far fetched, but great! I agree, Allison is a wonderful actor.
I actually liked this season better than Season 1.

I did too. I didn’t really plan to watch much of season 2, since we didn’t like season 1 very much. But we got through the episodes within a week.
Yes, what an ending! I didn’t see that coming. I wonder where they will go with the plot next time?
Same! I hope Season 3 has more than 6 episodes.

" The second season was shortened two six episodes because Cahn felt like there wasn’t enough time to produce eight, but thankfully, the creator said that won’t be the case for the next one. “Season 3 will have eight episodes,” she confirmed to TVLine in October."

In my usual late fashion I just finished season 3 of The Bear. I wasn’t expecting much because I had heard many disappointed watchers - I actually really liked the season! I feel it was setting us for season 4 by giving us more history on the main characters.
Thumbs up from me.
Also I really wish this tshirt came in women’s sizes/women’s cut …

I think they have Keri Russel all messy (hair and clothes) so we don’t think she’s still a Russian spy from the Americans.
Keri Russel is one of those people who doesn’t age (Dorian Gray)

Spoiler ahead, the diplomat
That take down by Allison over her hair and clothing was so reminiscent of The Devil Wears Prada over Andy laughing at Cerulean Blue and the virtual slap from Meryl Steep.

We enjoyed Season 3 of The Bear as well. I can’t wait for season 4!

We enjoyed it, but it seemed like a filler season, which I believe the writer said it was, due to the writer’s strike. My one big gripe was that the Fak brothers got way too much screen time.

H and I binged Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building this past week. We are currently watching Elsbeth season 2.

I’m really excited about Yellowstone final episodes starting to drop tonight , but we don’t get Paramount Plus. There will be 4 episodes dropping once a week. For those of you in the same situation, I’m going to wait until they are all there and do a free 7 day trial. I guess they are also on CBS at 10, but I’m never up that late.
