H and I binged No Good Deed this week. I think I enjoyed it more than he did.

Just finished the last season of Vera. I will miss Vera and her team.
Too bad that it ended when David (Joe) just reunited with Brenda ( Vera) the previous season. Wish Brenda and David acted together on this show longer. I prefers Joe over Aidan after all these years.

For some reason Iāll miss Kennyāit was always fun waiting for Vera to zing him at some point in the episode. He was the one constant in the team room.

just finished. good cast including demi moore, jon hamm, and andy garcia. pro big oil and tobacco slant, of course, with the opposing view represented by the young, eager, outsider attorney.

I have PBS Passport, so I was able to binge all 6 episodes for Miss Scarlet season 5 over the weekend. I was concerned going in that I would be let down by the absence of the Duke. Not all all. Donāt want to spoil, but there were so many good things in this season.

Catching up on shows I hadnāt seen when they came out, especially on my year of free Max.
Just watched Mare of Easttown. Outstanding! Kate Winslet is so, so good. And side comment, I was just really amused by everyoneās doing that accent. Iām not a Pennsylvanian, but when Iām in south Jersey, I hear it from everyone, and it is so odd to my Central and North Jersey ears. I first heard it when I spent two years of college in Maryland, and it puzzled me then, too (lots of MD students from near the PA border,or Delaware, or Pa with that accent). It was like everyone was talking some weird mixture of Southern and English accents.
Anyhow, watching M of E, I swear it seemed like the writers had every actor say āhomeā as many times as possible, to prove they were doing the accent. Kudos to British Winslet for nailing it.

With the 2nd season of Night Agent being released on 1/23, I finally watched the first season. Excellent entertainment.
Also, the 2nd season of The Recruit is being released on 1/30. Iām also looking forward to that one as well.

We got fooled by the trailers that the 2nd season of Night Agent was already out. We were disappointed when we realized we have to wait another week!

Matlock (Part 2 of Season 1) returns in two weeks. Iāve really enjoyed this show and am looking forward to the next episodes. Kathy Bates is great.

Watching The Pitt on Max. So far, I like it, good cast. Noah Wylie is great.

I like it too! Iām a big fan of medical dramas (which makes no sense sine irl I canāt even look at a splinter). This show seems to be more focused on the medical and less on romantic drama, but it might be too soon to tell.
