Binge watched tv shows (Part 2)

I think you did not mean to answer me .

Nothing like catching up on a couple of hours of The Pitt to make one’s own health problems feel insignificant.

Ooops no I thought I was posting on the whole thread. :folded_hands:
Deadlock and Night Manager are tonal opposites :joy:

We just started the new season of The Night Manager. I was glad that they gave a recap at the beginning as I didn’t really remember a lot of the first season.

I’m watching Outlander and if any of you are, too, are my eyes deceiving me or has the actress who plays Brianna done something to her face?

We have been watching the new season of The Lincoln Lawyer this week. We are really enjoying it.

Started The Puzzle Lady on PBS passport. Phyllis Logan, aka Mrs. Hughes of Downton Abbey fame, plays a puzzle writer who moves to a small town and starts butting into and solving murder investigations.

Vibe is similar to Shakespeare and Hathaway, Marlow Murder Club, etc., what the Brits run in mid-afternoon time slots, not the dark heavy hard boiled murder shows.

Light, funny hearing “Mrs. Hughes” dropping F-bombs!

I probably missed it here, but I didn’t know there was a new season of Deadloch! Nice surprise!

Yup, scroll up a bit :joy:
The two producers/writers said that if S1 was an Australian pastiche of Nordic Noir, S2 was created after the Spaghetti Western :face_savoring_food:

It appears that there’s a “smoothing” filter on all of the main cast, and a rather heavy hand with the makeup; it’s distracting.

And tat’s the end of 12 hours at the Pitt. I assume there will be another season coming up eventually?

I believe there are 15 episodes of The Pitt, just like last season, so it’s not over yet!

The season finale, episode 15, entitled “9 p.m.,” airs April 16. So 3 more to go.

HBO renewed it for season 3 in January, in advance of the season 2 premiere.

I’m currently bingeing “ A Place to Call home”, set in 1953 Australia. I believe it’s on Prime, then after the first 2 seasons they wanted you to pay. So, I found Tubi (which I had never used and it’s free!), is playing all seasons. I have a Roku stick, and it’s one of the streaming apps on that. It’s a really good show.

I did that too (binged it). there is a weird break toward the end of Season 1 as I think that was to be the end of the show and then another producer picked it up and it went on. Have to say I liked the very first part best, but the rest was okay.

Finished 7 of 8 episodes of Paradise S.2 Hoping the last episode is great as this season just felt like a bridge to season 3.
