Which class would be more impressive and useful if I’m looking to do medical research later? Btw I think Science Research is more of an independent class.

Go with the more rigorous one. I think biochemistry would definitely be an useful class. Usually, science research is taken on independently and not as a class… Like as a summer activity or internship.
However, if you feel like you’re lacking research skills and want to learn how to properly do it, go for it. But I would choose biochem.

With Science Research, you would be able to work on your research skills, and have a focus in medical science. Biochemistry, on the other hand, would probably give you a better feel for what goes into medical science. Maybe you could take Biochemistry and do Science Fair/Misc. Research as an independent extra curricular.
