I had planned a trip to a few local stores today, but it’s been snowing all day and no plowing yet. It was not worth it to me to try to get out, so I will try tomorrow or Monday. I’m sad for our small businesses.
That’s too bad that the weather interfered with these small businesses. Hopefully, when folks can get out, they will go to their local shops.
Feel free to make it “Small Business Season”!!!
Ugh! I decided to rejoin Apple with that 5.99 offer, which they both emailed me and posted on my apple app, but after a long runaround to “unlock my account,” they told me I was not eligible for the offer. So why send it to me–multiple times???
We decided to do HBO Max for the year and signed up for the $2.99 per month with ads.
Free shipping at Eddie Bauer for Cyber Monday.
Nordstrom’s Cyber Monday sale is on. Some of my favorite Chantelle undies were 65% off - the caveat it was a particular store pickup only. I will be going there anyway to return a couple of things so happy undie drawer refresher to me! ![]()
Natori are on sale also. Great buy. Normally 22, now less than 10.
The only streaming deal I purchased during Black Friday was HBO Max’s $2.99/month offer. I was also interested in Apple and Paramount+, but didn’t purchase because I’d need some time to catch up the HBO Max series I watch before looking for new streaming services, and I thought there would be better alternative offers in the future. That future is today.
Apple+ has a free 3-month trial through Roku (ad free). It displayed for me when logged in on my Roku device, under the left menu tab “Season’s Savings”.
Paramount+ currently offers 2 months ad-free for $0.99/month. Promo code is RM2KN3. Paramount+ recently announced that they are discontinuing their historical promotion style of offering unlimited free trials and hoping user doesn’t cancel, so this may be the best available price going forward.
I sent my usual cherry republic gifts to my family to support small businesses in Michigan.
Stuff shipped later than I had hoped, everything should be there by Christmas though
