Suddenly little black sprockets are showing up next to some thread titles. It is between the thread name and the star, nearer to the star. When I click on it, I get a box at the bottom of the screen that say “Dismiss”. I didn’t try to hit that, I hit the back arrow to get out. Not all threads have it (but all the ones above this post in this forum do seem to, but it does not seem to match pinned posts - it isn’t just those). I’m on an iPhone XR iOS 12.1.4. @CCadmin_Sorin do you know what this is?
Follow up - they MIGHT be associated with pinning, but this thread has one when I come into this forum now. And the “dismiss” thing is weird.
I’ve had these on random threads for a couple years. I just ignore them.
Hmm, I never noticed them before today. I see a sprocket in the thread on my own posts to edit them. But I hadn’t noticed then on the list of thread titles.
@intparent, a user has the option to dismiss pinned threads. If you hit “dismiss,” the thread will no longer be placed at the top of the forum.

@intparent, the thread is listed chronologically, as all other regular threads.
Am I the only one, when reading the title, thought that this thread was going to be about Tyler Perry updating the Mike Myers’ SNL sketch?
