Heard there is a blizzard forecast for the Midwest today and tomorrow. Schools are closed. Perhaps another snowstorm this weekend in the northeast. Snow suspended a golf tournament yesterday in the Tucson area.

Yep, school is cancelled here, and it’s icy and snowy (OK).

A storm expected tonight in Chicago but only 3 inches so nbd.

SNOW DAY! I thought it would start earlier - when I got up this morning to take the dogs out, I peeked out the window and was surprised to see it hadn’t started yet. It started while I was out walking them, and there’s a pretty impressive accumulation now.

Unfortunately, H is also stuck at home and he suggested we should clean the house. I’d prefer to read my book, watch movies on Netflix, waste time on the internet, etc.

Yeah, our predictions have gone from 8-10 inches down to 4-6. No snow days. MAYBE a late start tomorrow for the city schools. Snow day for the rural schools if the wind picks up.

Only expecting a little snow here or a rain/snow mix. May this be the last winter event of the season - I am DONE with winter!!!

We are supposed to get 4-6 inches (WI) but schools here are already closed for some kind of teacher inservice day. Very convenient (for a change).

Even though this one doesn’t look that bad, I share abasket’s hope that it is the last big storm of the season. It has been a exceedingly tiresome winter, with much more ice than we usually have to deal with.

Very early predictions were for a foot+, then down to 6-8", now we will be lucky to see 4", maybe. Missouri looks rough though, not much snow but predicting ice coverage of an inch or so–NOT fun. Another storm on tap for Monday…maybe.

I got a pic from my brother in Phoenix and they had a light dusting of snow! Crazy. I lived there my entire life until after college and we never got snow!

Most schools in central Iowa are closing early today, though it hasn’t started snowing. The urban school’s haven’t called off early yet, but most of the rural and medium schools have. I expect the urban ones will call off soon. They are trying to be there long enough to call it as a day and not have to make it up.

We are expecting ice, the not so nice Mother Nature winter gift. Hoping they are wrong. It has not been terribly bad as far as large amounts but what we have had has been very slippery and caused large amounts of accidents. I like the stay home & read & watch net flex method.

VAMom2015–we got an AZ snow photo from some friend in the Phoenix area too–funny!!

This will be the third weekend in a row for snow here in New England.

The initial forecast for my town was 8-12 inches late Saturday night and Sunday, but it is pretty early for accurate amounts, so who knows what we’ll wind up with.

We have 9 inches. I woke up by a THUNDER SNOW strom!

8 to 9 inches of snow here. It is slowing down, fortunately. They say will will get another inch of light snow through out the rest of the day. 4bear, you must be in my neck of the woods!

Not happy to hear that there may be another weekend storm. My son and his roommate are leaving south Florida early Sat. morning and plan on driving 24 hours straight to get back to school in Maine. Likely another very long sleepless night for me. :(

I think it is less “may be a storm” and more “how much will we get”. Sorry. :(

The latest map I just looked at now has me in the 10-16 inch range.

I need a snow day tomorrow. I have a huge lab due which I haven’t even started on yet.

“The latest map I just looked at now has me in the 10-16 inch range.”

Oy, right in their path through Ma, NH and Me.

Maybe I can convince them to stop at my sisters near NYC and wait out the storm.

They’re going to try to drive 1700 miles in 24 hours??? And they might be driving through a snowstorm at the very end of trip when they’re going to be very tired? I would be really worried too.
