<p>Hey, the board of a registered non-profit voted to make me a board member. (Not related to my family.) However, someone then said that I was too young to legally take on the liability involved. (I’m a minor… and I will continue to be for several years.) Does anyone know if there’s a national thing about that, is there anyway I can get around it if the board wants me to serve? If it helps, I live in NC.</p>
