Bottom line to me is, it’s a four-year pre-college boot camp (the “prep” part of prep school). Some parents are down for that; others aren’t. Some kids benefit from it and hit the (college) ground running. Others can choose to wait. No shame either way .
Been great for my kid, who loves it. But that’s her. And us.
