<p>Hey guys, I just needed a little help on something.
I want to start a club that promotes body image and tries to counter all that media-hype on how a woman should look like, but I’m having issues with finding an attractive name. I did some research and found two groups online named operation beautiful and redefining beauty. I do not want to use those two names, but I want something attractive and short?
A few (really bad) ideas I had were:
Campaign for True Beauty
Revolutionizing Beauty
Envisioning a New Beautiful</p>
<p>Maybe you guys could use something with “imagine”, “reform”, etc.</p>
<p>I realize that this may seem dumb, but the right, pretty-sounding name can make a huge difference in the amount of members I can get.</p>

<p>I have no idea how to start this club/organization or what, but I really think it is something beneficial to everyone on campus, not just the students. </p>
<p>I like the Revolutionizing Beauty. The campaign might sound temporary…what about True Beauty? </p>
<p>Hmm i’m not sure either, I want this club to be inviting for everyone on campus. </p>
<p>Maybe we can work together to formulate this??

<p>Well I decided to opt for the name “A New Beautiful”. I’m not to sure about what to do for activities and how to get people to join either =/ but I guess I’ll figure something out!</p>
<p>Hi! I don’t have any ideas for the name, sorry. But I’m in a psych class right now, and we watched a few videos on this topic. The one I want to recommend is a 4-video series by Jean Kilbourne. You can find them on YouTube. She talks about advertisements/commercials and their negative representation of women. She did the first video a while back and she’s kept making more videos as time went by. They’re really good, I think your club would enjoy watching them.</p>
