<p>And walked into a 7-11 to rob them in Central Square and presumably walked a number of blocks over to MIT and shot a campus police there. Then hijacked a car to Watertown. From what I can tell, the police was not even following them but the hijacked car was spotted in Watertown. It looks like they were definitely trying to get caught and go out in a blaze.</p>
<p>Twitter talk is that black cap guy had an explosive device on his chest and detonated it. Hence why he’s dead. Yes, blaze of glory theory.</p>
<p>Others reported he died in shootout with police, though.</p>
<p>I just hope White Cap doesn’t kill anyone else before his final blaze. :(</p>
<p>No, the report I heard was that suspect #1 was shot in a gun fight where the MBTA police was injured. Suspect #1 died or pronounced dead at Beth Israel Hospital.</p>
<p>If you can hear the gun fight that was recorded by the news crew, intense gun shots could be heard for maybe 30-40 rounds during that confrontation.</p>

<p>NBC also reporting that the dead suspect had some kind of explosive strapped to his chest. It does seem like they wanted to die tonight.</p>

<p>skolnik reporting that Pete Williams is saying both suspects are foreign nationals. Sunil is American born. skolnik says he heard sunil’s name over police scanner earlier.</p>
<p>Sunil is apparently the missing Brown student. Common belief was he had committed suicide? Before the went missing, apparently an undetonated explosive device was found on Brown’s campus.
Wow. Just wow.</p>
<p>Whatever channel I am watching stated that he is NOT the missing Brown student…so much information though-you have to watch it 24/7 to stay caught up.</p>
<p>Pete Williams of NBC saying they are either Chechnyan or Turkish. If this is not Sunil, what a horrible ordeal for his family.</p>

<p>I just woke up and I am completely freaking out. I really hope that they catch this person soon.</p>
<p>I hope the folks who pointed at Sunil realize how fast they jumped and, in some cases, how inaccurate their proofs were.</p>
