Bombing hits BostonMarathon

I thought the DailyMail article was fine. Its perfectly appropriate to wonder where the wife is and what she knew about this making and stockpiling of bombs that was going on in her house.

Also interesting that she is in Rhode Island. Did he send her out of town? Or did she get worried about an increasing erratic Tamerlan but not warn authorities?

This may affect some politicians’ view on immigration reform, but most likely those who were against it to begin with. The immigration debate centers around those here without documentation and mainly on those from Mexico. The Chechens appear to have been here legally.

Yes, but name of child didn’t need to be revealed. She’s an innocent victim too. Glad that so far she’s not been photographed.

The child’s name has been in circulation all day. It was given by the Russian father during the phone interview with ABC. And broadcast by ABC.

It includes names and pictures of the WIFE’S family and home. Do you really think ANY of them are safe now? Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting.

I think its disgusting that you think they arent safe.

Really? In what universe are they safe?

“It includes names and pictures of the WIFE’S family and home. Do you really think ANY of them are safe now? Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting.”

True, very true, and maybe those miscreants should have considered what would befall their family before going ahead with it.

It shouldn’t even be legal to publish the names of minor children like this.

The uncle is on YouTube.
“I don’t say loser(s)…I am saying those who are able to make this atrocity are only losers.”

I hope they catch him alive and are able to interrogate him properly…many more lives might be in the balance

In most states, the death penalty ends up being more expensive than life without parole, since most states want to be sure beyond all doubt that they are not executing the wrong person, so there are extensive and expensive legal appeals to go through. And then most on death row end up dying of natural causes in prison anyway.

To call them “losers” does a disservice to those who truly wear that mantle yet wouldn’t dream of harming so much as a fly!

Well there goes the First Amendment as well.

Its a bankrupt attitude to think your fellow citizens are just going to go off and randomly attack a small child as soon as they see a picture of the house she is in. You have any profile of those people in mind?

1116^

I’m not talking about death penalty either. I was referencing an exchange of gunfire with police. I am well aware execution/death penalty is more expensive than locking them up. Police bullets are not.

Really good interview with Michael Lightner ( spelling) on msnbc about terrorists and what drives seemingly well adjusted people to it.

Basically ,as stated by someone earlier ,its the desire and need to become part of something bigger than themselves. So it might have been relatively easy to " radicalize" the younger brother. Seems so elementary and simple. But maybe that is all that there was to this particular man becoming a terrorist. Just opportunity and a feeling of belonging.

Interesting stuff. Evil. But interesting.

Select / random tweets - overall, negative attitude regarding women/ girls.
