book recommedations

please.
I am dying of boredom right now.
5 days till graduation! woohoo

If you haven’t already read it, 1984 is pretty good. Just finsihed it today myself.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It’s my favorite book. I always recommend it to people. I hope you like it if you decide to read it! :)

Dr. Seuss
Webster’s Dictionary
the list is endless…

Read The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio, and make sure to find a non-olde Englissche translation. It has naked people in it 8}

Thackeray’s Vanity Fair and Wolfe’s The Bonfire of the Vanities. I read both of them in succession and loved them. :)

The Last Lecture

Born on a Blue Day

You guys sure read a lot of dog books. Born on A Blue Day? Not even an autobiography of someone famous.

Try:

Earthsea Cycle, starts with A Wizard of Earthsea (Ursula LeGuin)
Ender’s Game stuff, Orson Scott Card
LoTR
The Chrestomanci Novels by Dianne Wynne Jones (If you like these, try reading some of Noel Streatfield’s children’s books)
The Naming, The Riddle, The Crow, The Singing series (series, by Alison Croggon, great reads)

Hunger Games

^^ He is kinda famous. Memorized over 20,000 digits of Pi.

Full Title:
Born on a Blue Day: Inside the Extraordinary Mind of an Autistic Savant

I thought it was interesting.

Art of War by Sun Tzu

The Dolphin People is funny and interesting. Horror novels are a good thing to kill time, like The Taking by Koontz.

I don’t know, the book thief isn’t my favorite book. I liked it, but not my favorite or really top 5. Also, if you’re a guy you might not care for it (seemed like a girl-centered book to me). Angelas Ashes is amazing, guy or girl, if you want awesome poverty with a sense of humor (and it’s based on a Franks life too, not just narrated by death).

Or comics, I always think people should read comics, like Ex Machina (because it’s my favorite and non-tights but still cool).
