Anyone know how to access book information for the upcoming Fall semester?
HUB says that the departments are still reviewing the books. Is there any way around knowing which books would be used?

Try UB Bookstore
[State University of New York at Buffalo - North Campus Bookstore : Shop the University At Buffalo Bookstore For New & Used Textbooks, Rent Textbooks, Digital Textbooks, Apparel, Gifts & Supplies : www.buffalo.bkstr.com](http://www.buffalo.bkstr.com/)

My advice is to wait until classes start, or at least email your professors asking about the book. Many professors either don’t use the book or don’t assign homework from it, in which case you can save a lot of money by getting an old or international edition.

What classes/professors? It’s possible that some people on here might have taken them before and know what the book requirements are.

I never buy books until classes start and have never had an issue. Also never buy from the bookstore, far cheaper elsewhere.

Books still aren’t up yet for my classes. I usually rent them and have them sent to UB. They usually refund your money if you send them back within a couple of weeks. Cheaper than buying and if you decide you don’t need it, you can get your money back.

Hey, anyone know which books are used for MAE 335 and MAE 376?

MAE335 is a custom book that is sold at Great Lakes Printing on Campus for somewhere around $35. It was custom made by one of the old Fluids professors, Dr. Dale Taulbee. In all likelihood, you can get away without the book - if you have Dr. Ringuette, the notes that he gives in class follow the book quite closely - but it’s not a bad reference either.

I think MAE376 might have a book - but don’t bother getting it, at least if Krovi is teaching it. Book does not help at all. If you do end up getting it, buy an old edition - the content is pretty much the same and he never assigns work from the book. I may have an old copy floating around if you want it.

What’s the book called for MAE 376?
