I know this is a shot in the dark. can someone look in their student’s portal and see if there is an admissions counselor and below that the financial aid counselor. I don’t remember seeing a financial aid contact in the past month or two. Sure it’s not a sign but figured if anyone else could confirm either way. Thanks!!
I just had my daughter check and there is an admissions counselor and a financial counselor listed, but she is uncertain as to whether or not they were always there. Best of luck!
Tx for checking! Appreciate it.
They weren’t always both there, but my daughter has had both for at least a few weeks.
My dreams are shattered
Nooooo. Did all of our kids get the email in December or January to apply for ED 2?
I just read elsewhere that a parent called admissions and was told that all applicants who are US citizens were assigned a Financial Aid Counselor due to the influx of calls regarding financial aid that Admissions was receiving.
So Thursday at 6pm EST?
I also have both listed but i think they both have been there the whole time. What do you think that means?
Does anyone else not see the withdraw application button anymore?
Same… I don’t remember it either. I applied ed and got df and it was never there. But now it is there…
I do not seem it have it. Also does anyone else have a “Check your financial aid” section below the app check list?
My son doesn’t see that button, and there is a “Check your FA” section below app checklist now.
Every applicant has an FA advisor now because Admissions was inundated with financial aid questions.
Check FA info [red] tab is located under the application checklist.
Did everyone get two emails in early January asking to consider applying ED 2?
Where was that button located?
Yes I did
No idea but I figured it would be in the portal somewhere
I figured it was just a generic email sent to all RD applicants. Thank you for your reply!
I did not get those emails asking me to switch to ED2. The only email I got besides portal email was one on feb 9 saying my ap is under review.
I feel like this is a dumb question, but assuming my daughter is accepted and that’s a big “assume”, does BC ever give merit? We are in that place making too much for financial aid but $85k is so much to swallow without aid, with two kids in college. Do they ever offer I.e, $20k, $10k, etc?
