It’s not a dumb question. During a campus visit, the director of admissions said very clearly that the only merit offered is the Gabelli scholarship - no merit.

It is disappointing. I’m figuring that ship has sailed at most schools for us. I keep seeing that scene from Animal House where they’re evaluating the candidates during rush in my head – “we need the dues!”

Eagle ID’s were included when the students first received their “Save this email :pushpin:: BC Applicant Status Portal credentials” email shortly after applying.

We took the on-campus tour last month and the admissions director says they have only 1 merit scholarship and it’s a full ride but you would have had to indicate scholarship in your app AND submit by earlier deadline of Nov 1. I think they do interviews in the winter. (Someone please correct if I’m wrong) All other aid is need-based but they promise to cover 100% of need based. Unfortunately my daughter did not realize this and just applied by regular deadline.

BC Admissions just tweeted that regular decision notifications will be released later this week. I’m thinking Thursday.

Did the people with the _2023 apply ed at first? I did and got deferred… so I wonder maybe it’s because my first decision was in 2023 but I may be wrong.
