How long were the LOCIs you guys wrote?
My LOCI was 3 pages single spaced… not to mention this was the second 3 page single space LOCI that I sent after being deferred.
I was told to keep my LOCI to one page, so that’s what I did.
I still don’t understand why they said NO waitlist activity until May 1st but have taken people off the waitlist. Is that a good thing meaning they’re planning on taking more people off and have so many spots they need to start early, or is it a bad thing meaning those of us who haven’t gotten off yet have less of a chance…
Is there a certain reason for this? It seems so early that Friday was the commitment deadline and Monday there will be waitlist movement. That means they’d be working over the weekend… it just seems too early.
I wouldn’t worry at all about the pre-deadline students. The early few that recognized themselves here are undoubtedly specific cases and not the normal process.
We have no idea what the numbers look like as to who has rescinded and accepted prior to that date. It seems like a few last minute “captains picks” and not the traditional waitlist.
They will be going over all the data and meeting up next week. Hang in there.
My LOCI was about a page and a quarter. nothing too long. and @user_387298 there’s no reason to my guess just hoping for the best
Now I’m worried my LOCI was too long… but I just figured if it was they’d stop reading and if it wasn’t at least I said everything I wanted to say.

Nothing for me either. I don’t think we’ll hear back until later this week, but I could be wrong.

Did anyone get a call about financial documents and needing them to prepare financial aid for students? I just did this morning and was wondering if it meant anything…

I actually just got a call! It was about my financial aid documents too… My AO called me and told me that a spot of the waitlist isn’t guaranteed but that he wanted to make sure I had all of the documents in so I can get my financial aid package if I get off the waitlist.
