Does is matter when I send my LOCI? like would the people who send theirs earlier have a bigger advantage over me who just sent it today? I am really worried
No. It won’t put you at a disadvantage. It will be a function of number of spots, your particular strengths, what they need and whether you fit that piece of the puzzle.
You do want to make sure you get that in as soon as you can before decision day.

Hi, is it typical for the Admissions officer to reply to the LOCI attached email? I sent mine a while back and didn’t get a response. Also, any new updates? I’m slightly surprised they didn’t send us the that survey yet.
@ohmyohmyohmy For reference, I uploaded my LOCI to the portal… I originally emailed my AO with a question and it took him a couple of days to answer. When I spoke to him, I also asked about the LOCI and he told me that he will see it when he goes to review my portal for the WL. So, I am unsure if you should have gotten a response if you emailed it to your AO instead… Also, I completely forgot about the survey. It does seem strange they haven’t sent it out yet considering other universities have already started accepting students off the WL.
I bet the survey form will come Monday. BC has already said they won’t take anyone off the waitlist until after May 1. I think they just want the correct # and will start accepting students in waves soon after
So when I emailed my rep, he answered within 3 minutes. He probably is getting so many emails that he just copied and pasted the response. He said the survey is going to come out at the very end of the month.
So then when would the first round of acceptances off of the waitlist come? May 8?
If we have extra application materials (ex. portfolio/design work), would we be able to submit that at this time? Or would admissions prefer that we just submit a LOCI? I’d love to share my work but don’t want to hurt my chances.

Ugh, how do you select you will “definitely attend” if you don’t know what your financial aid package will be? My son was accepted at 3 full need met schools and offers ranged from one over another by 2K, plus loans while the 3rd was under by the other by 5 and 6K respectfully with loans and under both by 1 and 3K without them. Different at all 3. A fourth not full need actually came in 3rd in price. BC could be higher than all 4. How could we know if we could swing that? I’m assuming the only possible way to get out is to check definitely would attend…just venting I guess.
Did you get an email confirmation back after you submitted the survey?
We are treating it like ED—even they say they’ll attend—if they can afford it.
I did not recieve a confirmation email. The page after the survey said they sent an email to my correct email address. So, if you didn’t recieve one also, its probably just delayed or there is a system issue.
Is anyone adding anything to the extra comment section at the end?
I just filled it out and received an email confirmation directly after. I also added a brief comment at the end : )
