Does anyone know when they release our transfer credit reports? I got one back from Bentley (I’m definitely not going there I’ve already decided that) and they were not as generous as I had hoped…slightly nervous I’ll be entering as a freshman status if I attend BU!
@JLM1234 They requested me to send some external information, but as far as I know I’m not sure. It’s definitely got to be before June 1st though!
It seems like BU is pretty backed up, and so is Northeastern (I applied there as a transfer too, although BU is my main choice); they seem to be pretty slow on getting the portals updated as well. The whole “spring grade” thing is making me way too nervous. :((

I called the office today to ask for an early review, surprisingly, they told me that I was still missing my “spring grade”, which is holding my decision. I got so confused afterwards since they said mid-term report was enough for evaluation before, besides my portal was showing “complete” for a long time. However, the lady clarified it for me that they need to see my spring transcript in order to make the final decision. So, guess I have to wait three or four more weeks because I won’t take the final until early May. :((((
@Triple2s Did they request the for Spring grade on your portal now? or you only discover that you needed the Spring Grades from calling them?

@Triple2s The request wasn’t on the portal right? So if I want to make sure if they want my Spring grades then I’ll need to call them too?

@transfer22222 It’s still not on my portal now… I guess you will never know if they want your Spring grades unless you contact them for clarification. No problem.
Hi everyone! I’m new to this thread I applied to BU for the Speech, Language & Hearing program in Sargent college! I’m anxiously awaiting my acceptance/rejection letter…
@triple2s see, the whole spring grade thing is making me angry. I know they have a limited amount of seats for transfers, and financial aid seems to be on a first come, first serve basis; it would make me livid if having to wait an additional 4 weeks just for spring grades would affect our chances of being accepted.
@mislysBB True, extending the waiting for four weeks does make me frustrated a bit. Especially my grades will be nearly same as they were on my mid-term, except there will be an official report. Sadly, all we can do right now is to hope they require the spring transcripts from most of other applicants. Because I feel there is no negotiation over that “spring grades” requirement based my conversation with the admission officer.
Late response but accepted to Questrom School of Business 4/13. 15k grant aid.
Have not sent my syllabuses and got my application in about 10 minutes before the deadline. It appears to me that your time of application does not effect the time of your decision. Very happy to be admitted, but the cost is quite high for 2-3 years. Also, the deposit is due by June 1st (at least for me), so that may present an issue if you applied to Northeastern as they haven’t sent out any admission results as far as I know. @xonnaux They did not explain why, so I don’t know. I thought they required all applicants who have less than certain credits taken to report Spring Grades, but that was obviously not the case.

@bioengdude When did you receive the result? Did you receive an email or you just checked the portal?
Just contact with the Admission Officer, most decisions will be available in early May. I have other colleges that have a response date of May 1st! >:)
@Triple2s Hey, I just called them. At first they told me that my HS transcript is missing then I asked them to check again. And now they’re telling me that my application is complete. They didnt mention anything about spring grade at all. But thats kinda good for me though, because my three history courses are sinking my grade right now

i just called admissions and asked when we should expect to hear back… she said it was based on when you submitted your application which doesnt make sense because my friend who submitted hers after me heard back a week and half ago…
@transfer22222 I received an email on the 14th saying my admissions decision had been updated and when I went to the portal the acceptance was available. Just received my packet of information on Tuesday from them.
