@Triple2s I will, too. I have no resources for where I can rent house, its a safe choice to live on campus for the first year in school.

I requested an early read list placement yesterday via an email. I got admitted into Questrom School of Business earlier this morning. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence. 
Did anyone submit a financial aid appeal? Got my package and there’s no way I can attend with that aid 
The page says we have to decline or accept the aid by May 14…yikes
@kaiju0515 What was your EFC, if you don’t mind me asking…I haven’t received my financial aid package yet, but I know if yours is low and you didn’t get nearly enough aid that you can do an appeal.
I had to do that at my old crappy state school after my mom lost her job and nope the government didn’t care at all haha, but I’m guessing it’s much different at state schools!

My step father reports an income of 48K but that money does not go to me, my parents are married but my mother takes on any and all costs for my education etc. She reported around 4K this year because she only has temporary jobs.
We tried to make it obvious by having them file as “married filing separetely” but it didn’t seem to have the effect we wanted.
I was reading other threads about BU appeals on this website and even if it does go through the difference is only $500-2000

@kaiju0515 i filed for an appeal the week i was accepted (awards given back are rolling) at my current school i was given 40 k and BU gave me 20k. I filed for appeal and only got 1000 back so i won’t be attending
does anyone know if we definitely have to send in our end of semester grades? And if so, what kinds of grades do you think we need in order for them to not take back our acceptance haha…not gonna lie having some trouble staying motivated for finals knowing that GPAs dont transfer between schools.

@transfer099 I’m going to open house and requested a financial aid meeting. I’ll bring it up to them there and ask about final deadlines (thinking about defering) and whether they’re pushed past May 14. Thanks for the info you gave me though! It looks like you’re not the only one, the appeals are very small…
@mislysBB Are we in the same shoes? This is so disappointing… I have emailed them last week requesting to be placed on the Early Review list but nothing has changed. I honestly don’t care anymore if it’s an acceptance or a rejection. I just want to end this waiting! Were to asked to provide your spring grades? They didn’t tell me that when I emailed them :’(
@xonnaux I think we are. BU told me that they need my spring grades before they can release an admissions decision, and I e-mailed them and told them that I have a deadline of June 1st for Northeastern, so I would really like a decision before then, so I could weigh my options. I don’t know if they placed me on a read early list, but I know if I don’t receive a decision after shortly sending in my spring grades, they will be hearing from me.
@mislysBB Do you have any idea why is this the case with us? I’m in my second semester of uni so… probably that.
