@Triple2s I feel you. I’m waiting for mine too and my school will close at the end of this month and I have no clue where should I put my stuffs :((
@transfer099 what did BU offer you in aid? I know some people who haven’t had the greatest success appealing financial aid.

@WSneijder i did. you should probably call them to check so they can update it. i had to call to make sure they had all the required items
@WSneijder My application was actually completed in early March, but I had called the office on March 29th to remove the requirement of Spring Semester Final Report, so it should be officially completed on that day.
@Triple2s I see. I completed on first few days this month. But they never require me to submit Final Report for Spring term. I mailed Mid-term report instead.
@WSneijder I submitted everything required including Mid-term report in March. However, the completion of my application was delayed only because their system glitch (require to submit Spring Grades).
they gave me 21400 but its still significantly more than i can afford. i appealed today and they said i should hear back in three weeks @

Yeah, they haven’t updated my applicant link in a few days, so I am just assuming that they are backed up? I know they have my transfer report and mid-term grades. And it still says that they need my final spring grades, but I think I might just let it go until its near May 10 and I still haven’t gotten a decision.
I submitted my application before December and finished my midterm in February… Still no decision on my portal. I’m genuinely concerned because I have to submit a deposit for IIT before May 1 
Should I call? I feel like they will just say be patient and wait -_-
@kaiju0515 I think that they will just tell you to wait. I have to move out of my dorm too by the end of this month and I have so much stuff that I have no clue where to put (because Idk yet where I’ll be for next fall). So my BU friend suggested me that I can call the transfer office and just ask when all decisions will be released. So I did, and of cause they were like “we don’t know”. So good luck!!! hopefully we’ll all know pretty soon (fingers crossed)! @-)
Accepted! CAS Computer Science! I’m so friggin ecstatic.
I won’t bother posting my stats, because my past academic history is really, really convoluted (in truth, I have like 3 different GPA’s to factor in).
I guess they changed my decision yesterday, on Thursday the 16th, even though I just happened to check it now, all the meanwhile thinking, “What’s the point of checking it this late on a Thursday, it’s just going to be the same anyways…”
Did anyone not receive their financial aid status at the same time of their decision? My award still hasn’t come in yet.

It’s ironic that the one who was worrying the most had their decision released the quickest… I do want to say, though, that the day I discovered my situation via phone, I wrote an entire cohesive 2 page letter (single-spaced) 4 hours afterwards detailing all the conflicting circumstances that would greatly burden me if I received my decision after May 8th, and all the reasons for why I was asking to be put on the early read list before then. I genuinely don’t think they would or could have read my letter that fast, among all the thousands of applications, or that maybe the request for my spring transfer grades was a mistake all along (obviously, with my decision here now, that request is no longer on the applicant link), but maybe that made a difference in expediting my decision. Wow, I lucked out, didn’t think that my decision would come right on time with my expectations, three weeks before I expected it to. Well… I’m optimistic now, and I hope the best for you two as well!

Seeing the “our records indicate…” Every time I log in is giving me anxiety now. I wonder what takes them so long to process applications

I’ll admit, I am not exactly a happy camper right now. I e-mailed BU, (because I had some prior questions) and this is the answer they gave me (I hope this is okay to post).:
"Thank you for your correspondence.
During the review process, the Board of Admissions may request Spring grades from students, and they are aware that for most students this information is not yet available. This information is necessary in order to release a final decision, and it is in the student’s best interest to have this information considered along with their application. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to call our office to speak to an admissions representative."
I don’t know, but having to wait another full month for just to give them spring grades is frustrating. How long could it take after I give them my spring grades? Will this reduce my chances of getting in? Will it reduce my chances of getting aid?
So many questions that I probably won’t be able to get straight answers to.
@mislysBB To be honest, i wouldn’t get your hopes up with aid. I got in on Monday and didn’t even get that much, and when I called, they said its given on a timely basis (meaning even if i appeal, it depends on what funds are even left). So i Think it is more of a time sensitive issue regarding aid. It just means they need more info to make your decision, so just try hard and make sure you have good final grades. its frustrating that we have to wait any longer. but if it makes you feel any better, i got in and won’t know if i can even go for a month at least due to the financial part so we’re all waiting together
