We live in Florida, so my daughter applied to 11 schools and 9 with test scores (1370 SAT), she got into all 9 and with merit to most of them. She applied test optional to my husband’s alma mater, Notre Dame, got deferred REA and rejected RD and to BU, my alma mater x 2, so I am anticipating another rejection. She will either go to FSU for free or UF with free tuition, so either way she will be fine.

Site back up, is the blank :white_check_mark: still there?

Still there! Good stats but no demonstrated interest so id guess my d24 will be waitlisted but i doubt the checkmark correlates.

Now we have that empty checkmark.

My daughter still doesn’t have the blank :white_check_mark:

DD still doesn’t have it. Very high GPA but no test scores.

D24 has it, demonstrated interest + strong ECs/test scores, mid-GPA

Agreed!!!

How many of you checked the box to be considered for CGS? My daughter didn’t, so will be curious if that is a factor or not for her getting in and the empty :white_check_mark: box.

I don’t think the empty Checkmark has anything to do with being accepted or not. I think it is just being added as they upload decisions to the portal. I wouldn’t read into it at all

I agree, just curious how many included CGS in their application

Does anyone know what time EST they are releasing decisions on Sat?

My sons portal now shows the blank green check mark which has changed since this morning. OOS, engineering, submitted SAT 1520. I have no feel for what to expect, have some acceptances and waitlists.

I wonder if some IT person with a sick sense of humor programmed in that blank checkmark just for fun.

I wonder if everyone will have a checkbox by tomorrow and they were uploading decisions in three parts: accepted, rejected, waitlisted.

I would agree with you. The blank check could be a placeholder for the decision link. When you click on it now, just goes to a blank page.
