Hi, my son is also set for guaranteed transfer next fall. Any idea if a letter from the guaranteed transfer admissions office will be sent before the end of this semester regarding transfer credits? I can’t find any info from past students who went through the same process.We’ve sent all the course description forms for both semesters . Apparently, a letter for which courses will be accepted towards general electives versus degree requirements will be sent pending second semester official grades become available.
Hello all, my daughter got an offer for guaranteed transfer, wondering how thing went for anyone who has gone that route before?
Has this happened to anyone else? My S24 accepted his guarantee transfer option to BU by the deadline. then out of the blue yesterday, he received an acceptance into the Fall Freshmen class this year. he never submitted a LOCI or any extra info (since he thought this wasn’t even a waitlist) - their message to him said that they had a few extra slots that allowed them to extend this offer to him. So i suppose this Guarantee Transfer list also works as a secret waitlist for BU to draw from as well. Thought some of you would like to know. FWIW, my son will not accept this BU offer as he already decided to enroll at another school that accepted him so i suppose this slot will go to the next person on their list.

Thanks for this update and congrats to your son! I didn’t even know about this program until it was offered to my D, sort of by mistake. (She intended to withdraw BU app after getting in ED to anther school…but her “effort” to withdraw the BU app failed apparently). When we found out I admit I sort of wanted her to accept GT anyway kind of as a backup plan…but she didn’t want to cause a problem. Anyway it’s great to know it was used sort of as a waitlist, at least in your son’s case. I have another Childe applying to BU soon so love having this info! Daughter got the BU Guarantee also. Interesting that there might be some fall movement.
Crazy because they already HAVE a wait list! Did they go through the WL already?
