Brains vs. Brawn

The age old question. Which do you think is more important? Although I probably shouldn’t be answering this on a website full of biased intelligent people…just curious as recently the topic of sports has cropped up in HSL.

Personally I feel you need both, and they’re equally important.

brains! But then again I suppose it depends which direction you want to go in life…some careers, sports, or activities may highly value brawn!

I’m not sure when brain hasn’t been able to replace brawn with something like a machine, so I’m going with brain.

Brain, definitely, but it’s important to have a healthy lifestyle too!

I assumed brawn was excess of muscle (with the charming help of many protein shakes) :3

Yeah brains is a lot more important, but I really think exercising and eating healthy is really good for you as well.

If you interpret brawn to include assertiveness, you realize how equal they really are.

For the typical interpretation I would still say equal, you can’t win a war with just a game plan. You need soldiers too.

Yeah, I’ll say the answer is both.

In the modern world where tech is King, it does lean a little more towards Brain

but when the Aliens takeover: nothing but brawn.

well, I would say my fist can harm an alien a lot less than a guided high intensity laser would

^ cause u ain’t swole enuf, duh

get both.

Besides, a punch requires less energy and resources than a laser would.

In the grand scheme of things, human beings are a lot better at being smart than they are at being strong, so I think intelligence is more important for us because we can go farther with it. Our physical abilities are really limited compared to our intellects.

Brain any day.

Brain can develop brawn.

Brain for sure

depends on the situation. In the stone age, brawn maybe.
