We are big Breaking Bad fans, though I have to admit I close my eyes sometimes. The acting is terrific, as so is the cinematography (as in the scene in the desert where Walt has the sack over his head). Walt was a sympathetic character to me in the beginning, in a warped way. But he has become less so, even though he’s falling apart. Brian Cranston is just an amazing actor. Scout59, I wonder if Walt didn’t have an endgame. He is delusional (and narcissistic) enough to think he could go on with this forever–which for him is a finite period. I’ve also grown more attached to Hank. On some level I think he really knows what Walt is up to. I would hate to see Hank leave the show, if you get my drift.

I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but when we were in Albuquerque one day this summer, my S looked up BB locations online. We drove by Walt’s house. I felt ridiculous, but at least we didn’t stop and take a photo. When we returned to fly out of ABQ a week later, we needed to find a CVS and ended up across from the car wash.
