so agree dmd ~ this young woman is going through such personal difficulty for all to see. she seems like a natural mom with her little boy…hope she finds some peace and stability.

BTW, Lindsey L. is out of the slammer.

I’m thinking her decision to call off the engagement, again, is for the best. She does seem to have some degree of maturity - she is working at a dermatologist’s office and seems to be functioning fairly well as a single mom. I don’t think marrying Levi is going to add to her stability or quality of life. Better she finds out now that she had it right the first time she dumped him and move on. Although I have to admit, I will miss not seeing the wedding party in camo-gear.

Wonder what engagement/wedding gifts they got that will have to be returned…

OK, would someone please explain why it reflects maturity to air your current engagement status through national media publications? If the answer is “for large bucks,” let me know.

What is a “natural mom?” Or, better yet what is an unnatural mom?

I feel kinda sorry for her.

According to this article, Bristol discussed this latest news directly with People Magazine.

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20407608,00.html

I feel badly for Bristol but why, oh why, did she make such a detailed public announcement?

Now, she says she is moving because the media is camping out where she lives. She keeps opting for the public spotlight and for a myriad of reasons, this is not good for her, in my view. She could opt to avoid that. I truly think that would be in her best interests.

maybe Bristol could get a few pointers from octomom. She’s done a better job at getting out of the spotlight.

Possibly for the money? I understand exclusive People Magazine interviews pay quite well - probably even more if accompanied by tears…

So their engagement was broken off the same day they made it public - nearly 3 weeks ago? Yet even Mama Sarah has made public statements since then as if they were going forward with it… are ANY of these people for real!!!

^^^ All valid points!

Even so, she was very specific in her interview with People about the break up. It is one thing to announce the engagement is off and another to share this level of detail.

For those on this thread who point fingers that this is being discussed at all, this couple is INVITING commentary by being very very public with details of their relationship and going to the media to make detailed comments. A natural consequence to that is that people are going to discuss what they read.

I read she has moved back home with her mom. What, she doesn’t think the media knows where her mom lives and won’t camp out there?

I wish she would have stayed at her own place and in her routine that her son is probably used to.

Can’t have it both ways–living your life (and airing your dirty laundry) in public forums, then complaining that you have to move so the press will leave you alone.

Stay tuned…

Part of the media is renting a house right next door to Mom.

“He’s obsessed with the limelight. Let me tell you all about it in this interview with a nationally published magazine.”

Maybe they’re made for each other after all.

^^I also found that line in the article to be ironic.

“He’s obsessed with the limelight. Let me tell you all about it in this interview with a nationally published magazine.”

Well put.

I was glad to see that this second dump by Bristol did not seem to get Levi down.

It is great to see that he is keeping working on his career (this is his second year at Teen Choice Awards) and co-parenting.

I think Levi has been a lot more accepting than Bristol of things that have occurred after the first breakup.

According to Ben Barber, who was going to be one of Levi’s groomsmen in the first wedding, and thereafter got close to Bristol (you wonder what Candi’s thinks about this):

Levi was going to marry her even though her last boyfriend [Levi’s “friend”] had indicated her passion level had dropped and her “fame” had gone to her head. I haven’t seen anything by Levi that indicates that he is going to dis Bristol or Sarah over this last public drama. He seems to be growing up. I wish him well.

This is getting weirder than my Soap Opera and that can be a bit far out.

He can use his playgirl photos in his campaign posters to save some money.
