No changes on the portal and no email. Wondering if they are sending the rejection letters out in batches?

The bullet points, as well as the “acceptance letter”, disappeared from my portal, that’s all folks, it’s over.

My bullet points and acceptance letter is still up. Everything looks the same as it did before. It’s probably a glitch.

Hey! lurker on this thread, but I thought I might share a theory I have about what happened yesterday. Please take my opinion with a grain of salt, because it is really far fetched and I don’t want to get your hopes up.
I noticed that people who received rejection letters also simultaneously received “acceptance info” while a small number received noting in the form of an email or portal update. I went back in this thread and noticed that Brown has previously messed up the logic on the portal (when the tour and stuff disappeared) so them creating a glitch in the notification system isn’t off the table so to speak.
What I think happened is that everybody was supposed to be notified one way or another, and the people who received noting were the one who where intended to be accepted today. It is possible Brown accidentally sent the acceptances to the incorrect people (the people who unfortunately received rejection) letters.
If this theory is right, then I would expect the acceptances to be sent out tomorrow. If that doesn’t happen, the people who received no update are most likely those who will be continued to be considered in order to hedge against any possible “summer melt” that arises from an online or hybrid fall semester.
I agree that it was probably a glitch, especially if those who saw it didn’t get a notification email. But if the acceptance information disappeared, that may be an indicator of the actual decision yet to come 
For those who didn’t see anything, though, I think we might have just not received a final decision yet.
I feel like there are too many people who didn’t get anything for that to be the case

wow im sorry guys, that’s terrible; did anyone who got that portal update confirm with admissions that it was indeed a rejection letter? i also wonder why only these people got them… Brown really needs to step it up
