@Sarrip We received packet last weekend. Has your daughter decided?
Did anyone else get the status update about the Presidential Scholars Program?
Did anyones ‘option to withdraw’ option disappear before decisions were released? Some transfer students were wondering as some of ours have gone but the decision date isn’t until May.
@CrimsonKid99 I know I’m reading this a few months late, but Brown PLME is my dream (probably like a bunch of other people too). I am a rising sophomore and am looking to expand my science extracurriculars to show a passion in the sciences so that I can try for PLME. What were the EC’s you did to show interest in science?
Not sure who will see this but hi. I am a rising sophomore right now, and my ultimate dream is to make the Brown PLME program. I took my SAT in 8th grade and got a 1580, and I have a 4.0 UW and 4.375 Weighted as of the end of my freshman year. I’m also a science specialist on my quizbowl team (likely won’t continue this), a member of my school iGEM team (prestigious synbio competition) and I had shadowing/intern experience at some clinics. I also placed 3rd at HOSA ILC in 8th grade (not sure if that counts lmao). However, I want to know how to really show my interest/passion in science in terms of my extracurriculars. Anyone on this thread have any ideas which science extracurriculars would be best to develop a science spike in my application/any tips on making the PLME program? Thanks in advance!
