I’m an international from the Netherlands and I’m thinking about applying to Brown. Any internationals got admitted? What was your hook? I need (alot of) financial aid and I know Brown isn’t need-blind in their afmission. Could anyone help me with their insight and experience? Thanks alot ina dvance

from my experience, brown was towards the top of my list, had a stellar interview, i thought that it was my best application of all colleges BUT was asking for fin aid and got rejected…so make sure that you have backups

i thought i had cracked my interview as well… in fact my interviewer called me the next day to chat and was VERY optimistic of my chances @ brown…

i got rejected

i’ve come to the conclusion that interviews for internationals are completely pointless and are only a sort of screening to weed out the real oddballs…

applying for finaid really screws your chances @ brown as has already been mentioned…

interview was with KS @ worli sea face…thought interview went awesome, talked like 3-4 times after that…but outcome was negative…

congratulations on brown…i love tht school…its kinda diff. in its own way…i am more conservative (at least fiscally) than the average brown student, but still…cant beat tht environment…congrats once again…

Thanks… heard you got into Princeton which is as good if not better… Brown is different in its own way (the liberal curriculum etc) but you cant beat princeton either way… Congrats on that… Guess all three of us are going to great schools now… Though at this point I still don’t even know if I’ll end up at Brown…

Waitlisted at Columbia… and my school counselor seems incredibly confident of getting me in (dont know why but if she does I wouldnt be complaining)… So between Brown and Columbia… What would you pick
