@Medhelper, hope your tears did not wash away the letter of offer!!! Hahaha. Congrats!

@Midhelper
YAYYYY!!! Thanks for posting because I swear I was even more nervous than for my daughter…I kept wishing “please let her get her wish she is so nice she helps everyone please let her get her wish…” Now I can uncross my fingers and GO HOME!

Everyone have a great weekend!

@Midhelper- Yayyy!! CONGRATS!!!
I’m so glad that everything is working out :)

have to go out, but just want to say Congrats to Midhelper and S! Fantastic!

@IMGDAD so funny :)

@SLCMom I could hug you right now - thank you so much for the nice words. I am so glad I met you. I really need to get your daughter to meet my D at RPI. We will probably see each other again even though your D will now be one year ahead of my S since she will be at Albany after 3 yrs.

Yes…MORE GIRLS at RPI…thank goodness!

congrats midhelper. Sounds like your son knew what he was doing.

I couldn’t sleep last night… but our son got into RPI/Albany!
Thanks everyone, especially to @SLCMom, @Midhelper, @IMGDAD and @starlight27. SLCMom’s report on the interview day at Albany was a gem.
Congrats and good luck everyone!

Congrats everybody on your acceptances! I’m so happy for all of you and although I will not be going through BS/MD Programs I wish you all luck and know you all will succeed with your choices! It’s truly been a rough journey and it’s been nice to have the support of everybody on these forums. Good luck!

The Washu - USP results are out - i was selected. Yay !!!

@FrozenShardz you are absolutely right about the journey being rough. If you are still going to go the Med route you may want to keep plugged in an touch base with any of the students who were accepted into the schools you are interested in. For example, I know RPI is accepting a student from their BME program to transfer into the combined program in his 3rd or 4th year even though there isn’t an official program like that they do take one student if there is a slot.

@upstream Congratulations and I know how you felt. My son made us promise no checking emails until we were all together after school and work. This day was rough.

@starlight27 and @class1417 & @texaspg thank you for the good wishes.

Now I feel like hibernating like a bear.

It so nice when everyone get what they wanted. My eyes were tearing when I was driving out, I think because she was the last one get the news, it is so much nicer we all can be happy together.

@Starlight, S get into Drexel/Drexel.

anyone going to accepted students days for drexel on april 12th? would be nice to see some CCers

CAJ2014, we are going tomorrow, because we can not make it on the 12th.

@dumich
Thanks for the laugh…but what a pity you are away at Providence!

@FrozenShardz
Thank you, and I have every confidence YOU will succeed in your chosen path! UC Berkeley is an excellent school and you will be well prepared for whatever you choose to do. I wish you the very best!

@midhelper
Thanks! Yes, I’m sure my daughter would love to meet yours, and your son again too. All the best, enjoy your weekend, I’ll be in touch later.

@Confucious2014
Congratulations!

Again, congrats to the latest round of acceptances - as I said I was overwhelmed by work and not following this thread for a little while (sorry, but at my age sleep is not only necessary it is inevitable), so don’t mean to make anyone feel left out! Cheers for everyone and best wishes to all regardless of where you end up. You’ll all get there!

@Class1417- I’ll be there too tomorrow!! :)
