*** BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2014***

@chillychews - I haven’t gotten a interview notice from them yet either hopefully they will send then out by this weekend.

There are other available dates-- March 3rd and 4th. So, if you have not received an interview date yet, presumably you will be offered one on those days. Don’t lose hope guys.

D was offered interview at NJMS through Stevens. She got the email this afternoon. She scheduled it for 1st week in March.

@chillychews- I think HPME is still sending out notifications cuz someone just heard from them yesterday and also they would have notified us if we were rejected. I haven’t heard from them either.

@njxcdrmom- Congrats to your daughter!! :D

Does anyone know how many people NU HPME has given out interviews to already, because there seems to be a lot of people who have not received any notification but not many interview dates open.

I don’t think anyone besides the admissions office knows the number of notified interviewees @Sadfeet. Good luck!
@starlight27, I haven’t received an HPME notification yet either. nervous I just want to get this suspense over with! <.>

Does anyone know when notifications for Geneseo/Upstate come out?

@coloredenigma Is that a combined program? I know my S just got his acceptance from there for regular UG within the last 2 weeks some time.

@bsmd14, I’ve got the interview with Drexel on march 1st as well! But i have it with the Rosemont program. Maybe i’ll see you guys :)

also just out of curiosity, i know a lot people have had interviews with drexel already for the 7 year programs. what is the general process/ schedule of the day like? they didn’t really mention it in the email and i want to know what to look forward to doing through the day and such. Is there any specific way you would recommend to prepare for the interviews?

@GreenSage, congrats and good luck!

Good luck GreenSage - I am so happy for you!!1

@GreenSage, congrats! First there is an introduction by Dr. Dennis DePace. Then after the session, you have either the interview or the tour. The interviews usually last about 30 min. Then, there is lunch with the med students. That’s the day for Drexel.

@GreenSage, First of all, congratulations! Yes, we’ll meet you on the 1st! My S later got the email for Rosemont too.

Apart from what is mentioned in http://webcampus.drexelmed.edu/admissions/myInterview/LinkagePrograms/expectations.asp</a> , we do not have any additional information. We are expecting the format to be similar to that of the 7-year programs, which means there could be an impromptu essay and an interview with a faculty member.
Best wishes!

There is an essay @bsmd14. But its not hard.

ahhh lovely we have about a week to prep! (wow this time of the year actually seems worse than the initial application process tbh. in the midst of school, ECs, APs, Interviews, supplements, etc etc!!)

@Greensage - I totally agree. Hasn’t it just felt like a year of supplements? Hahaha
Oh and the roller coaster rides - but the ride is soon coming to an end.

Any body had their UMKC interview yet ? My daughter’s interview is coming up. Any info would be much appreciated

Same here…@dildil when is your daughter interviewing?

It is on February 25th. when is yours ?

Mine’s on the 26th! Good luck to her
